Race-Time

Engine and gearbox was done by Helmut. P the retired Porsche chief mechanic of the Porsche classic center in Zuffenhausen. Engine was checked and tested on a motortestbench. Full load adjustments where done in the test cell, partial load and idle was done on a chassis dyno. Chassis and suspension was done by Rafael Diez who prepared a similar 911 for Walter Röhrl. We tranfered the main specs in our setup. The Porsche is now drivable and behaves well tempered.  Electrical wiring was done by by Gerhard S., he wired the first 911 prototypes in 1965, all fuses are automated, We run on a double ignition and double Pierburg fuel pumps, one main fuel filter and a cleanable 2nd filter, we reduced the compression ratio on 9,5:1 so the engine can handle mexican fuel and optimized the torque to achieve better drivability.

... let's go to rock the road again!
